This is my thirteenth year of teaching. I spent my 1st
five years teaching at Martensdale-St. Marys before coming to Ankeny in 2000. I joined the Northview staff as a special education
teacher where I worked until joining the PE/Health staff last year. I am a graduate of Graceland University in Lamoni, IA
with a degree in Health and Physical Education. I attained my Master's degree in Learning Disabilities from Morningside in
2001.
My family has lived in Ankeny for nine years. We have
a son in 4th grade, a daughter in kindergarten and a new addition on the way. My husband is also a physical education teacher
at Northeast Elementary. We enjoy spending time camping, hiking and playing sports.
